ANOTHER HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT...only not really.

See, tomorrow afternoon I go to Kentucky for my uncle's retirement ceremony at Fort Knox! I shall be gone tomorrow evening through a bit over half of Friday, but I should be back by Friday evening. Just to let everyone know I probably won't be posting much at all Thursday or early Friday, unless my aunt lets me use her computer. (Which may not be available, since it might be packed up in preparation of their moving soon after my uncle's retirement.)

A good number of you will be asking, wait... We had a Simon Tam/ Sabaku no Gaara/ Pale Man? This is because I dropped into hiatusville right before the nightshift in which Simon's "boyfriend" Jack (who got it on with his not-so-girlfriend? I think?) turned out to be MR. RADIO!?!?!

HEY, it's Jules. Jules is actually back! Jules will resist the urge to sob for some kind of an update on things, and pretend it's totally possible to slide back into activity after missing SO MUCH.

Heyyy, just letting you guys know my internet's been really wonky lately, so though I haven't been around on AIM these past few days because I had to get work done for my classes and planned to be around these next few days to talk to you guys who need clarification about stuff, I'm not sure how reliable my internet will be. T_T; It's working at the moment, but it wasn't working for most of today and it still keeps erratically spazzing in and out or going super-super-slow when it does connect, so... yeah, you get the picture. D:

ANYWAY, might be an issue, might not. We'll see. D:

Might as well also take this opportunity to reiterate what Court said and give a WARNING THAT TODAY'S YOUR LAST DAY FOR VOTING IN THE DOCTOR POLLS.

For folks who don't have my personal journal friended, I'm going on vacation starting this weekend. I leave Sunday morning and will be gone for about five days. So there's a chance that I may actually be gone for half of the first doctor shift. But if the Calender is up-to-date and accurate, it will be the second half.

So just a heads up that I'll be gone and may have to back thread some stuff in regards to the doctors threads - I know that that's an important thing, and I don't intend to leave anyone hanging. I may have internet access at one of the hotels, but I really don't know if I will or if I won't.

I'm also going to be a bit slow between now and when I leave, so please forgive me if I don't reply ASAP.

I think I managed to accidentally confuse some people.

Bast talks to his radio all the time. We know this. He's usually chattering away to Jack about leaving the 'nice' Head Doctor be, asking Jack questions, or even dispensing advice to the Head Doctor himself. I've been asked if anyone can hear Mr Radio or the Head Doctor talking back, and the answer is no. Generally Bast stops and talks to the person attempting to sneak up on him because, well, he's nutty like that. Or sociable. Whichever. At no point though can anyone hear someone talking back to him no matter what Bast claims. To answer the one question, yes, his radio can be stolen although expect many screeches and cries when he tries to get it back (or find it), not to mention threats of Crucio. Bast only stands a little over five feet despite the fact he's a scary Death Eater, so snatching his stuff isn't that hard.

Does he talk to them? That's something you'd have to ask Bast. However, should your character ever come into possession of Bast's radio, they're not going to hear anything.

EDIT: Forgot to add that if your character is a telepath or the like trying to see into Bast's mind on this matter, remember that most of the human mind is all about belief with it comes to truth or lie. Bast completely and utterly believes he talks to Mr Radio and the Head Doctor, but as I've stated, Bast isn't exactly the sanest of people. Keep in mind there is also that danger if one goes into his mind. He's out there, and I don't know if any telepath/mind manipulator wants to go on that ride with him.

I AM SO VERY SORRY I HAVE NOT REPLIED YET. My group project-y paper thing is only JUST finished now and the last few days were these nightmarish spending-far-too-long-at-the-computer-lab-fiddling-with-shit type... days. That and I honestly don't know how to reply in a fashion that does not involve horrible violence because Yuber has managed to piss Kadaj off spectacularly. Since it's nearly the end of the shift now, shall we merely wait until the intercom announcement so that Kadaj is "conveniently" dragged off to the next shift before he can land himself in solitary? I kind of do not want him to end up there, you see, and attempting to disembowel someone with a plastic fork tends to aggravate nurses for some reason. Can't imagine why.
