Summary: Time is an illusion here at Landel’s, but there are some things you still have to be mature enough to handle.
Notes: This was my mind playing with the idea mentioned when Harry Potter appeared on the applicant list (link). And also I couldn't write anything that didn't have my characters in it in some way. And also I shouldn't write fan fiction. And also sorry if I'm totally OOC for Arty... And yeah, I'm aware that they haven't even met in the game face to face so sue me. XP

Making this post before I shift change so that we're all clear on the rules before we set out for uncharted territory!

First and foremost, adhere to all of the rules Fey set out in this post.

Secondly: Here's how the posts are going to work once the Head Doctor makes his intercom announcements: Instead of a regular breakfast post, the patients will be escorted out to three buses, each of which can hold up to 90 people. Thus, we need three separate bus posts to be made titled "Day #: Bus #," and while we're letting the players choose where to put their characters, keep in mind that the characters ICly don't get to choose which bus they're going on, and we'd appreciate it if you guys kept the number of characters in each bus post relatively even. As far as breakfast, the characters will be getting muffins and juice boxes on the bus so that we can save as much time for the field trip as possible.

That's about it, I think! Enjoy the fun IC day ahead!

Edit: OH, one more thing--how about we spend about one IC day having the patients load up on the bus, and then after a cue is given in the lounge, you can start talking about how the bus started moving in your posts, and then we'll spend the rest of the shift on the bus ride? (The scenery would be that of a valley surrounded by mountains, going through a road South of the Institute and between a couple of the smaller hills, and then the bus gradually going downhill until it reached the town.)

So, I know I've been planning this trip thing for months, and I'm pretty much the one answering all questions and all of that fun stuff, and I know that it just started today....

But I'm taking a small hiatus! *faceplams* I'll only be gone until sometime tomorrow. And who knows, the crazy haunted hotel that used to be an insane asylum up in the mountains might have internet! I'm bringing Watari with me, and if there is internet... well, safe to say, I won't be sleeping, for fear of being eaten by ghosts.

I AM SO SORRY! The timing just worked out really screwy for this.

Regarding the Peter/Logan/Hitsu/Artemis/Xelloss thread: Are we backthreading? I didn't know where you guys wanted to cut it off, but if people want to keep posting them I'm cool with it. I think that Logan-mun is gone for a day or so, but I just wanted to check what you guys wanted to do.

Also, Tales of the Abyss people: It sounds like we're backthreading enough for people to finish up their conversations, but no one will actually be going anywhere? Just so everyone's on the same page there.

As much as I don't want to since today is Doyleton day, I'll need to put Larsa (entrust_to_few) on hiatus for the entire day, which means both Dayshift and Nightshift. The reasons are pretty generic: I need a break from him combined with the fact that NaNo starts up next week and I actually want to succeed this year. 8D; Of course, this doesn't apply to backthreading.

So yes~ Hopefully I'll have him up and running again when December rolls around.

Okay, so the cosmic powers that be aren't as stacked against me as I'd originally thought. Apparently the internet died for a lot of people in the dorm yesterday, and they fixed it last night.

This still leaves the matter of backthreading. I know that the Kenshin, Homura, Kyouya, and Okita thread is continuing, but what about M35? I kind of want to see Danny Phantom's reaction to Hikaru cussing him out...XD;

I'm back, but soon to be gone again. Gah! Sorry for this, but looks like I'm not gonna have access to a comp this weekend. :( I'll be back on Monday (Aus time), which is Sunday for any US-based ppl, and I think the shift will have changed by then anyways. Sux even worse for Court coz I think Xelloss-mun is having difficulties too? Sorry bout that!

So, um, if possible, just skip Loges until pretty much the end of the shift (if I do manage to get on, I'll jump in randomly somewhere). I'm about to post for him now tho. Was gonna have Wolvie pass out from blood loss, but I don't think even all four of you would be able to drag his heavy metal arse back to anywhere, so I dunno, I'll have to just get creative.

So, I find myself for once having no plans at all for any of my characters regarding the bus trip. So would anyone like to request one of my characters(Dias, Schuldig, Waka, and Saix, for those of you who haven't been paying attention)? None of them have been placed on a bus yet so there's plenty of room to coordinate something. :3

I'm also totally open to the idea to throwing my characters into threads that are already going if people want to be interrupted by a mercenary, telepath, tao master or grouchy Nobody~

EDIT: And by the way Sam I abjectly apologize for my utter failure with Saix this nightshift. I totally forgot we were waiting on me to ask the mods that question like every time they were actually on and then promptly remembered when they weren't around and I did that like fifteen times and I'm so sorry. Okay, so Tad and I were wondering if you all wanted to backthread a bit so Okita can realize that Hijikata is gone and not just in an MU. Tad still wants the lucentiens' blood, so Okita is going to sacrifice his flashlight and empty the batteries out, using the hollowed tube as a container.

So, first question: David, are the lucentiens going to kick it this next round and do you mind a backthread?

Second question: Gemi and Emi, if backthreading is agreed upon, would it be okay to split the team, having Kenshin and Kyouya gather the blood while Okita and Homura buzz it to the MU rooms as the shift "ends"?

So... I really think that we should finish off the Leftover battle! Who's up for backthreading? :D

Hair growth at Landel's. I'd IM one of you personally - but I thought that other people might like to know, so in the lounge it is. ♥

So, since I now have a character with a partially shaved head, I'm curious. Yes, I'm sure we've all noticed the crazy weather changes at Landel's - but does hair grow as well? Like - during dayshift, will the back of Ashton's head be as baby-soft as it was when it was shaved, or will it have demonstrated some rate of growth? Will it have noticeably grown any more between next day and the day after that?
