Logan's currently enjoying a hearty meal in Twin Pines with two lovely acquaintances, but he's finishing his meal shortly and thinking of perhaps seeking out the local law enforcement for a bit of jawin'. Just wondering if anyone's planning on/prepared to NPC the Sherriff (or even one of his deputies) for a brief conversation before the shift ends? Just waiting on Raine to post in our thread, then he'll probably take off, so I's wondering what my options are?

Soooo, erm, since I have been massively failing lately at the whole posting in a timely manner thing (braindeath + general lack of inspiration + omfgtired = pathetic Lina) AND because I know at least one of you has a playdate elsewhere *cough*Kaze*cough* and because I had said that Light would be available for buggage (that's a word now) for the twins, I was wondering whether or not you two would like to wrap our respective threads up and so on? I SWEAR KADAJ AND LIGHT WILL BE AVAILABLE LATER FOR CONVERSATION TYPE STUFF. It's really my fault that I've been sucking at the posting thing, but like. Yeah, uh, among other things, World of Warcraft ate my soul. And I'm sorta flailing when it comes to my chars (especially the goggled one) so at this point... I better back off and let it sit. Many apologies to anyone looking to interact with them, but uhhhh right now you don't wanna be on the other side of one of my threads. ^^;

I had planned to app Manticore (City of Heroes) and depending on how things go, I may still give it a shot for the December deadline. I should know better how my time is going by then. I'm just... yeah. I need a break. The problem with obsessions for me is when they die, they die hard. I don't wanna be an undependable poster (which I'm fast becoming) sooo... Riddick and Radical Edward are shelved for now.

We are now accepting letters of petition from those of you who already have four characters and who are seriously considering apping an extra one come the next Application Cycle. Remember: You should only ask for an extra character if you're currently active with all your characters and you're certain you can handle all of the work. Those of you who are sending in letters should refer to the bottom of the Application Guidelines and meet all of the criteria before e-mailing us.

In other news, since applications will be opening a month from now, it's probably a good time to discuss how we're going to handle the influx of applications, which, if it follows the trend of the previous application cycles, will likely be very large. If you recall, last time, we decided to implement the 4-character-limit, three-day open period, much stricter rules on late applications, and holding off on ads. The result was that we indeed were able to cut down the number of applications to 81 from the previous 101, but Court and I were saddened to see that, naturally, due to the lack of ads, only a third of the apps were from non-player applicants (people who aren't currently in the RP) rather than the usual half.

As such, we've decided that more apps with more diversity is better than less apps with less diversity, so we'll be keeping all of the previous changes except for holding off on ads. So, for your f-list spamming pleasure (and you only need hold back if you're afraid of your friends mauling you!): a preview of the ad and the HTML for it!
