Not feeling great lately, going to be slower than usual, I'm sorry.

Because Tess is super-dense as usual. I was just checking to see if the rest of us (mostly me because it'd be my turn) should just wait to post until Momo picks up the maps or jump right in. I mean, I know Hitsugaya's a pimp, but I wasn't sure if he'd want all those people crowding his pimp-space.

Sorry this is going up late, I just got back from vacation last night! ANYWAY! Want a monster? Post here! Remember: Monster Mods choose the monster! Just leave the characters being attacked and a link to the thread!

And speaking of monsters....

Since we have a great deal of new people, I figured it's time again to post a few little reminders about the monsters we have running around here.

1) They are powerful. Even the small things, like rats and roaches, are tough and do a fair bit of damage when they land a bite/scratch/whatever. Remember to check the monster descriptions for what you're fighting, if you haven't encountered it before. It's extremely helpful!

2) Don't be afraid of your NPC mod! If you've got a question or don't understand anything, don't hesitate to ask. Every NPC mod leaves their name on the post, so you know exactly who to contact! We don't mind answering questions at all, and it makes threading go very smoothly! Smooth threads are love.

3) For the larger monsters (aquillas, necrits, Guardians, etc) these guys are difficult to kill. I know it's cool to have your character be all badass, but these monsters are more on level with Big Bosses, to use video game lingo. ;) It doesn't matter what your character was or did when they were in their own canon, these critters are tougher and stronger than them. Remember, half the fun of this game is competent, tough, powerful characters suddenly not being tough and powerful. And when in doubt as to how tough a monster is...ask! We're all friendly here, and know it can be easy to get a little muddled up with all the various monsters running around.

4) This is in the rules, but I want to re-emphasize it here: if you think your monster is too strong, or vice versa (NPC mod feels that a character is too strong against a particular monster) please, please let a mod know. The point of RP is to have fun, and we all want to make sure that's what's going on. And we don't bite, I promise! At least, you know, without being asked. ;)

And that's about it for this friendly little reminder. Go forth, and enjoy the nightshift!

(Oh! And [livejournal.com profile] lacidiana, email me please? I've been trying to grab you on messenger, but our schedules are just not matching up lately.)

School started out a bit rougher than I thought, so I'm officially holding off Claire (and Hermione, whoo) until dayshift. Tossing Claire in now would be too chaotic, I think. =\

Currently, there's a bloody Mozenrath and Nakago over here in search of someone who's been at Landel's longer to show them to a healer (yay clinic?). Anyone in the general vicinity want to take pity on them and show them where to go? Maybe even explain what's going on to the new guys on the way?

EDIT: Adopted by the lusty one herself. ♥

Um, I probably should have told you this sooner (jdshjdka totally forgot) but... I dunno if you already had Duo leave for the night or if he's on hiatus or what, but just letting you know that Nam and Roland are investigating his room (M61, I think?) looking for Repliku, and if he's still in there... yeah, he can just tell them to gtfo or something. :x

They're not gonna stay long, I don't think, so. XD; Sorry if this causes any problems D8

Haha, yes, it's that time again! That time when Fey realizes 'hey, we have lots of new people, and it's easy to forget small little detail things in excitement' and slaps up some little reminders to make things just a touch easier for everyone. :D

Regarding Night Shift only characters and Special Counseling Patients! They all have their specific locations. Popular places include the kitchen, the sun room, major hallways, etc. And generally this means that lots of patients have to pass through these locations to get to other places.

If you're traveling through a room or location where a NS or SCer is, there are two options you have! 1) Fight! The good old standby! Nothing gets the blood pumping like a super boss battle! And this is what happens most often. The other option, if fighting is not what you're going for, is to contact the player and ask if it's alright to get by without being noticed.

Remember! Nightshift is difficult! Nothing comes easily, and the big bads are generally blocking important things. Slipping by unnoticed is a rare, rare occurrence that almost always involves extenuating circumstances. These guys are in place to slow you down!

And of course, the same rules as I mentioned earlier are in place for NSers and SCers. If there's any problem, let one of us know!

And that's all for now! Any questions, just send them my way. :D

Would anyone like to adopt Captain Zelnick of the New Alliance of Free Stars? He's only just woken up, and is wandering in M-C, though he's happy to explore the angles of space until he finds someone to ask where the hell he is. :D
