Wow...this has been a rough nightshift for me.

A friend of mine is going through some major issues right now, and I've spent the last day, day and a half walking them through it. I think I'll have free time again come tomorrow, but if I continue to post slowly, it may be that she needed more help from me (and obviously, a friend in need tops rp ~hardcore~).

So again, sorry to everyone threading with Gluttony, Hitsu, and Rinali. I R Made of Fail this nightshift.

I'm hoping for a sudden adoption of my bone-headed muse who got himself all beat up in a hallway because he thought he was tough and could take Itachi all by himself. Is there anyone out there who would like to drag a bleeding ex-SOLDIER to where some medical stuff could be found? Or at least someone with first-aid? The last time I checked, ripping out metal objects from one's body wasn't proper first-aid but thanks for trying Cloud.

He's currently hiding out in Dr. Disraeli's room bleeding all over the nice carpets (TAKE THAT, JIZABEL AND YOUR LITTLE DRUGS TOO!). He's in the process of getting naked cutting up his shirt to make bandages. He's probably having a blonde moment with the fact his shirt already has plenty of blood on it, but I digress.

Love? ...but not from a monster. That would bring more pain and bleeding.

Can Haseo and Peony get through the sunroom (by way of running like hell around the battle?) They just need to get to the kitchen for some ice for Haseo's injuries, and Signum seems a little busy, but they can always like run the hell the other way or something if you say no? uhh yep 8D

Specifically the ones fighting Signum - Peter, Harry, and Momo. :)

Edgeworth and Gumshoe are about to walk in there, with the idea that if anyone's hurt too badly, they'll get them to the clinic, otherwise, trying to calm things down and help out.

In the interests of A.) not making a Thread of Doom and B.) not messing up any plans folks had in the way of hurting their characters/etc., well, it's probably better to clear it with everyone involved before they pop in. :) Is it okay?

ACTIVITY CHECK.

Our Activity Checks from now on are going to be much stricter than the last ones, as forewarned here. Our reason for this is that the more lax Activity Checks didn't seem to be working as well as people wanted them to, and so we hope this new system will enforce the activity rules better.

REPLYING TO THIS POST IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS. FAILURE TO REPLY TO THIS POST, REGARDLESS OF CURRENT ACTIVITY, WILL RESULT IN AN INACTIVITY STRIKE.

The only people excused from participating in an Activity Check are players who are already listed as being on hiatus here (or who have already made a hiatus announcement to the lounge). However, if a player comes back from hiatus during the course of the Activity Check, or if only a portion of a player's characters are listed as on hiatus, they must still comment.

WHAT WILL EARN YOU AN INACTIVITY STRIKE:

1. If you have not posted for one or more of your characters for two weeks or more before this Activity Check post was made, each of those inactive characters will earn an inactivity strike.

2. If you fail to respond to this Activity Check within the week specified (6/12/08 - 6/19/08) or if you fail to include links in your comment, you as a player will earn an inactivity strike regardless of your current activity.

3. If you attempt in any way to mislead us in terms of how active your character has been, your character will be immediately ejected from the game and you as a player will receive two strikes and be put on suspension for two weeks.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF INACTIVITY STRIKES:

1. For each inactivity strike, you will receive a formal warning in the form of an e-mail. In this e-mail, we will ask if you want to continue playing or drop. If you do not reply to this e-mail within a week, you will lose your claim to all of the inactive characters specified.

2. If one of your characters earns 3 inactivity strikes, they will be ejected from the game. If you have a clean activity record with your other characters, you may remain as a player with those active characters.

3. If you receive three inactivity strikes as a player or if two or more of your characters receive three inactivity strikes, you will be ejected from the game as a player.

Remember: Always keep any entries your character posts to tagged with their name (since that's the way we determine inactivity outside of Activity Checks), and if, at any time, you notice a trend of inactivity with another player, please let us know in the Reports/Concerns Post. The very best way to avoid being caught in an Activity Check is to announce an official hiatus as soon as you realize you temporarily can't keep up with the game. We know the game is extremely, extremely demanding, and we completely understand needing to take a break, but you need to keep the mods and players informed to avoid any misunderstandings and so we can keep things organized.

Hey, I'm sorry I was gone all day. I was unexpectedly entertaining a friend. I'm really tired now, and I have to work tomorrow, so between that and other social commitments God, friends, what is this shit I probably won't be able to get involved in the impending fight thread until tomorrow night. It's a little ridiculous to call hiatus for one day, but I just wanted to let you guys know I didn't die. I'm really sorry for holding all of you up in your nightshift ambitions. Or something.

You can tell I'm tired because I can't tell if impending is actually a word. I think it is, I really think it is. I'm sorry if it's not?

Back from the field trip. It feels nice to be in civilization again. What would I do without car exhaust in my lungs.

ANYWAY. I posted this a few days ago, and decided to leave him there until I got back. Anyone willing to adopt Danny? He's in West Wing South Hall 1-B and got lost on his way back to his room. Shut up, he hasn't been out during Nightshift alone for a week or something, it's reasonable! He's got a broken arm and a noodle arm and whoever picks him up has full permission to injure him however they want!
