Due to malfunctions in my campus's network system, my available internet here has been shaky at best. I think they've finally got most of the kinks out (it's questionable since connection broke again last night, but it was fixed before I woke up). So, Michiru should be more active now.

On that note, I don't really have any plans for her for the dayshift field trip yet, except a possible meet up with Seiya later in the afternoon. >3 So, does anyone want her? =D She's friendly. Kinda.

Pathy: Since I epicly phailed at the Sauce/River backthread last Dayshift, did you want to schedule something for the Doyleton trip? I think River's scheduled for time with Daemon and Firefly Reunion 2008, but that leaves her with a couple, free shifts. ♥

Rynn: When did you want River to slip away from her brother meet up with Daemon? I know he's busy, so I don't expect to snag him for the entire day. And if you're really booked/want to meet more peoples, I don't mind sharing him if you want to double-book. :D

Alrighty folks. Hey, you may have forgotten me because I've been gone for AGES but I just recently got to the point where I can go to the library every day and update. This means that I'm back, but not as back as I could be if I had my own internet back.

In other words, yay for being back, but boo on slow posting. I'll be coming to the library basically every day, but I'll only be able to hang out for a few hours and I don't have AIM here. As long as people don't mind the possibility of slow posting, I'm totally up for threading again and I kind of wanted to start now so I can get into the visit downtown.

I have a couple of mod-type questions first though.

I've been gone for a while so what do I say about my characters? I had a couple of ideas, about them being sick or something, but I'm not sure how that works.

Sorry to come up with this when I was already on slow posting for two weeks. I just started a new technical program in university, and it's hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm not used to university info-dumps and have to do a lot of studying in the evenings to keep up.

So, right now, I'm on slow posting with Cloud (1mperturbable) and Hohenheim (only_logic) for at least another two weeks. I will try to get to posts as quickly as I can, and I apologize to anyone that I'm posting with. Please had patience with me!

Okay, first announcement: We are now accepting extra character letters for October's application cycle. So, if you're hoping to apply for another character but already have four, five, six, or however many, make sure to get a letter to us within the next week!

Now, to clear up some stuff about the Doyleton trip:

This isn't like a normal dayshift, so there aren't separate, specific shifts for morning, lunch, etc. It's more like a shorter nightshift where characters wander around the town as they wish. We realized this might be a little confusing since a lot of players are organizing their character's day as if there will be shifts, so I wanted to make sure people weren't confused about that. It's totally understandable that a group of characters would just wander around and spend the whole day together like they would in nightshift, but it's of course up to the player how they want to do it.

Also, some people were saying they'd like the trip itself to be nine days instead of eight. What are people's overall feelings about this? We can add a day if a lot of people seem to want that, so let us know!

Oh, and make sure to ask for town NPCers when you need them! We'll try to release a list of which NPC mods are doing which townspeople once we've got it figured out.
