Right, so. As is common knowledge, I am made of late posts and fail. As such, I have not made any plans for nightshift with this poor kid.

He plans to do something next nightshift, but for now, he'll still be wandering about on his own, and goodness knows how that will end. Therefore, Danny Phantom is totally up for grabs this nightshift. He's healed, you guys, so you uh...you get a small set of amazing powers at your disposal?

SORRY GUYS for the late and brain-dead shift-changing; I uh realized at the last minute while writing up the posts last night that we'd forgotten to randomize, so I did that (after waking poor Court up to tell me what to do), and in the process of doing so, I.... fell asleep. T_T So then I woke up and was all "HO SHI" and finished sending off e-mails and posting.

Now I shall go back and resume sleep. BUT YEAH, SORRY. T_T

I should have announced this sooner, but I have finally finished my pet project:

I present to you damned_maps.

This account will hopefully reduce the number of tabs/windows people have open every nightshift (per character). You can look at smaller (corrected) versions of the large maps, or use the navigation links to focus on specific map sections with room descriptions, level nap key, other information all on the same page. Starting on the Surrounding Area map allows access to every other map from a top-down prospective. Navigation links simulate character prospective and reflect the directions a character can travel (you can even go up/down different levels of a location from within this perspective).

A mighty thank you to the mods for giving me permission to do this, and to my awesome beta testers who helped me iron out quite a few "bugs". (And if you want me to change which journal you want credited, OR IF I WAS HORRIBLE AND FORGOT YOU, lemme know. Also, I credited character journals by default out of privacy concerns.)

If you see anything that isn't quite right, or have additional ideas on how to make the maps better, lemme know! (I'm already thinking about replacing "No Exit" with better descriptions.) This will be an ongoing project as additional maps and descriptions are created. For special events, I may provide additional links on related map sections. Not sure how much time I'll have for that, yet.

So... between my three study and homework intensive classes this semester, I'm being eaten alive. I also have two exams, a program, and a lab report due next week.

Since Subby and Fox don't have plans for tonight, they are both going on hiatus.

Is there any NSers in any of these? I don't want to post and ignore them on accident if there are any.

I had an allergic reaction on Thursday (or so I thought), but it turns out that actually (also?) I've caught my usual autumn cold. Because of my asthma any time I get a cold it moves into my chest. I'm coughing a fair bit now and starting to get sore/headachey from the spasms, but I think I'm still okay for posting. If it gets much worse, I may slow down some. Hopefully it won't progress to full-blown bronchitis, but even if it does I should still be able to post, just slower.

And some other stuff, while I'm posting:

Allie, Serey, Callie: What's going on with Mello and Arty and Schwarz? We doing that this NS...? I am lost and confused, as usual!

Eve is out this NS (obviously where is a surprise) and since her canon is not that well known I thought I would put up a reminder that her wiki entry has info on her appearance and her powers at Landel's. To folks who are waiting on Edgeworth: I know you've been waiting on me. I'm sorry. At this point, I think the best thing I can do is to try and backthread the last town thread I have when I can and go on and dual-backthread the bus ride with Gumshoe and dinner with Mikami.

To folks who are waiting on Shiki: I also know you've all been waiting on me, and I'm sorry. I've run up into a brick wall of brainfail with her and will attempt to rectify this as soon as I can. Danny-mun, I'll post for you shortly, and Psyche, you'll get a post either tonight or in the morning. Also, it's fine for now since NS has started, but Anthy-mun, if you don't mind, can we do a roomie thread sometime? I'd like Shiki to at least meet her roomie. ^^;

I know I have been bad with threading. (sorry, Xelloss-mun!) New state, new job, and classes starting again has mid life busy. Plus I graduate this semester-- so I can't imagine it getting better.

As I weigh my priorities, please allow me to hiatus for a bit.

This might come as sudden to some of you, but I think the time has come for me to drop Cid Highwind. I've had him for a long damn time now (over two years!) and I still love him to death, but the facts are that: I haven't really gotten much done with him for all that time; I seem to get stuck in the same rut with him as far as thought processes and actions; I'm never able to give him consistent, solid canonmate interaction because.... I.... suck or something. D8 The fact that there aren't any characters close enough to Cid for me to have forewarned their players is testament enough, I think, to the fact that I haven't been very good at making connections with him, and I do hope that if anyone else picks him up, they'll do better with him. <3 Also, it's been ages since I played the game and I can't shake the feeling I've been mischaracterizing him and taking too much leeway and stuff for a while dskjfhdksa ;___; so yeah.

Anyway, please remove dawning_dreams and all that jazz. Sorry to players of his canonmates and to anyone who followed him. D:

P.S. MAIA, just gonna finish up the roommate thread with you and then that'll be it, so... yeah. T_T SORRY.

Putting this here since I haven't seen the Monster Request post yet probably because I'm retardedly early in needing monster action but if an NPC could toss something mammal-ish that Angel can eat over here, that would be awesome.
