This Thursday and Friday I have a work seminar that will keep me busy from about 8 in the morning until about 5 at night so I'll be on slow posting for those days. It should fall right around Fourth Shift, so I apologize to anyone threading with my characters during that time.

More importantly, from December 8 to December 12, I'll be attending a translation/interpreting seminar in a different prefecture from Osaka and I don't know how much time I'll have between classes and lectures and homework to post. So for that time I'm declaring a hiatus (although I may be able to do occasional posts late at night depending on the Internet situation). That should run right into the beginning of nightshift, I believe. I'll post in the hiatus thread when it gets closer to December 8th.

This will affect Okita Souji, Morinozuka Takashi, Aoyagi Ritsuka and Grell Sutcliff.

I am having serious trouble getting both LJ and GMail to load today. Yesterday too, but today it's worse; other stuff is loading fine, mostly. I think a router is messed up somewhere down the tubes from here, I dunno. It's very frustrating, so expect slow posting from me.

Okay, wow, it's really bad. It's taken me like... an hour+ to post one comment to the music meme. I may have to downgrade from slow posting to hiatus if this keeps up. Really sorry, guys. ;_;

So...I think this may come as a shock to some people...possibly many people.

I've decided after much deliberation that this coming nightshift will be the last nightshift for Hitsugaya and, really, for me in damned.

Since we've got the funeral thing going on, I don't think we want to spoil that potentially fun scene with yet another death; however, if people have a preference to seeing Hitsu die off as well, think it would be appropriately traumatic/nasty/evil/fun, I'm amenable to that. Whatever way people want to see him go is cool, but he'll be gone by the end of nightshift one way or another.

Sorry to everyone I've played with. It's been fun, but now it's time for it to come to an end, I fear.

You have no idea how sorry I am for dropping off the face of the earth these past few days. D= Had a crisis on Sunday involving my car's tire randomly blowing out in the middle of Nowhere, Pennsylvania, and then had work dropped on me left and right from my classes. (Btw, it should be illegal to schedule a due date for 'four hours later'.) I'm slowly shoveling myself out of it, but I'll try to get a post up in the next day or so. Again, I'm really very sorry.

Also, Michiru will probably be absent for the remainder of 4th shift and dinner, while I get a handle on my school work. Maybe the first few days of Nightshift, too. (Just need to survive this next week...) So, it's kinda like a hiatus, but I'll still be finishing backthreads? If that's ok.

Basically, RL keeps getting exponentially more hectic by the day, and I no longer have the time to devote to Damned that it deserves, awesome time-consuming game that it is. I'm not dropping completely, because I love the game and all you guys too much to vanish for good, and I'm living in denial of how much stuff I really have to do IRL.

SO. Brennan made the cut and is sticking around and stalking Angel like it's her job, 'cause she's new and I haven't tormented her enough.

Anya's going, but the manner of it is being left up to the Scoobies. Maia, Stephanie, and Mel: up to you if you want a melodramatic death scene or for her to just quietly vanish. I'm willing to do either. I will post her to dinner, because I love her interactions with Momo too much not to have one last kick-ass roomie thread.

Elle is getting her head cut open and her lightning skillz stolen by Sylar while Peter looks on (y/n?).

I seriously adore both of them, but I feel like I've taken them pretty much as far as they can go, and I want them to go out before they fall into too much of a routine or asdfhgjh;hlkjh something. Hopefully I'll be able to reapp at least one of them when I'm less busy.

i really hate to be doing this, but i've thought about it for a while, and due to life being quite hectic and overpowering (i work every day; at a daycare.), i come home every day tired, and i just can't handle four characters. that said, i'll be dropping two.

shion will be the first to go, but because i really don't want to see her die, she'll just vanish off into nothing. sorry, mion-mun. i really had fun with you even though we didn't really do much. ♥ and everyone else who played with shion, thank you.

... and second to go will be kairi. i've been playing her for going on two years now in damned, and going on five years come january anywhere, so it's about time i give it a rest. she's made some great friends here and because of her i've met some pretty awesome people, so to everyone who's played with kairi - we'll miss you. i'd like to especially thank court for being such a great sora (kairi will miss him dearly. :'(( i'm sorry.) all these years, and to everyone else who's just been playing with her through the years, even those who have come and gone. she'll also just vanish, because i just can't kill her off.

so, yes. that said, please remove dements and heartcrown from your lists. usagi will still be in play, and i may or may not be tossing bella out or putting her on hiatus again, depending on my schedule. plus, you know. holidays are coming up. ew.
