First off: apologies to everyone for going off on hiatus sooner than expected. It was partially due to the move, but also just due to lack of energy/motivation, so I can't claim to be entirely blameless there. T_T I'm more than willing to backthread with anyone who wants to continue, especially Serey, with whom I only got in one post to lunch! Sorry! D: If you were backthreading with either Ophelia, Utena, or Scott Pilgrim and wish to continue, please comment here to let me know.
Second, it's official: three characters is too many for me. In my current state of mind and life, one would be ideal, but I really don't want to let go of two characters at once, so I'll keep it at two for now. It was hard to decide who was going to be dropped, but I finally settled on Ophelia as the one to go. She's the one I stress out over the most, mainly because it's hard to be totally confident in being IC with her when a lot of her behaviour in canon depends on her having more bite to back up her bark than I gave her. I really should have given her more offensive ability to suit her personality better, but alas, I was too attached to how well I'd worked out the rules for her healing, and I wanted to keep that when forced to choose limitations. Hindsight is 20/20, as they say. ^^;; Anyway, she had a good year in the game, and I'm very happy with all that's happened with her, especially with Team Assassin (♥), Makiko Kisugi, Kio, Tsubaki, Kagura, Takasugi, Callisto, Raph, and Teresa. I may re-app her or another Claymore character at some point in the future, but it'll probably be a little ways off at this point.
She won't be disappearing right away, however. I'm hoping to get in a fitting last thread for her this NS, the details of which I'm currently working out. So, in order to stick to two characters while Ophelia is still in play, I'm going to keep Scott Pilgrim on hiatus for a little while and just focus on Ophelia and Utena. I don't think he has concrete plans for this NS other than wanting to join up with Indy again. Elisabeth, if you want, you can assume that Indy finds Scott sleeping like a rock in his room, quite unwakeable.
So, yeah. Hopefully this helps me to not be the total slow posting fail machine I've been for the last little while. XD;;
