Last night at the Haunted House has come and gone, and I am exhausted once more. I blame it for my fail having not posted as of yet. I'm sorry to the threads I... may or may not be holding up? (I haven't even checked yet, see how bad I am?!) But since I've got church in the morning and I don't think the extra hour we get is going to do a bit of good, I'm going to pass out now. Might get to posting tomorrow, hopefully. Sunday, day of rest, yes?

Title: Landel's War
Author: Eli ([livejournal.com profile] javits)
Beta: [livejournal.com profile] itsabere took a look at the first half~♥
Word Count: 2027
Rating: PG? PG-13? Mostly involves wacky hijinks.
Character(s): In no particular order, appearances by or mentions of… SPECIAL GUEST STARS, the Doctor, Donna Noble, Indiana Jones, Brook, Zoro, the Straw Hat pirates, Kurogane, Zoro, Kuroba Kaito, Hattori Heiji, Kudou Shinichi, Okita Souji, Himura Kenshin, the History Club, Sylar / Gabriel Gray, Dahlia Hawthorne, Lelouch vi Britannia, Wally West, Martin Landel
Pairing(s): Mention of Okita/pens
Summary: A new influx of patients turns the Institute upside down. It's not just the Institute that they're fighting any more…
Notes: I feel (only slightly) horrible for writing this. And I don't know if this even counts since the setup for the story is based on a group of characters who are not (and may never be) in the game. And since the setup focuses somewhat heavily on them, even though the focus does shift to them being (somewhat) in the background later. But I wanted to write it! Apologies for any/all character butchery (especially of Indiana Jones), and for fail fight scenes.
This, of course, meant war... )

Title: After the Fall
Author: Eli ([livejournal.com profile] javits)
Beta: None
Word Count: 771
Rating: PG, probably
Character(s): The Straw Hat crew (Luffy, Zoro, [Nami], [Usopp], [Sanji], Chopper, [Robin], [Franky], Brook), with mentions of Martin Landel, I.R.I.S., the Doctor, and various Clubs
Pairing(s): None
Summary: A year after everything changed, nothing really had.
Notes: Small sequel to "Countdown," my entry from last year. Liberties were taken when it comes to unknown factors, some characters who aren't in the game (yet/currently) are featured in the Straw Hat crew and even though we lost a number of Straw Hats since last year, well… they're in the fic because of its sequel-ness.
Nothing had really changed... )

Title: Everything Will be Okay
Author: Allie
Beta: No tiiiiiiime
Word Count:10,500 (whyyyyyy)
Rating: R for gore
Character(s): NPCs from Doyleton
Pairing(s): (if applicable) Nope.
Summary: As the institute's patients wake up in their usual beds, wounds neatly bandaged, the residents of Doyletown revert to their human states but their injuries remain. The roads are filled with bodies, and the buildings smashed and scorched. After the survivors gather in a clinic and try to understand what happened, three leave in search of help.
Notes: The long-dead zombies that pushed up from the ground and such have disappeared like NS monsters. Only the residents who were alive when the zombie event happened remain. I tried to stick to continuity when it came to how certain zombies 'died' or the injuries they sustained, but there were a lot of continuity troubles, so please bear with me. I also owe apologies to the .hack group, because I forgot Leon's age and the store clerk should have had a completely different reaction...but we can we handwave it or pretend the same thing happened in some different manner? Also, Kes, I'm sorry if I butchered your NPC. D:

ETA: I finished my corrections and formatted for LJ. Though, still, a pox on thee, DST!!

Carolyn once said that the reason a person couldn’t move or feel for a while after these types of mornings was because a person’s soul moved faster than their body, and if the two broke apart, the body needed a few minutes to catch up. )

UMM I'M REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT THIS TIME CHANGE THING BECAUSE. LIKE. I literally ran home from partying with friends to post this before 3 AM EST (I was actually like G2G SORRY GIEZ, I HAVE TO GO POST FIC TO MY ROLEPLAYING COMM SO I CAN GET AN OUTFIT FOR MY CHARACTER and they were like wtf) and that's when I realized that it had suddenly become 1:50 instead of 2:50 because of daylight savings. BUT I KNOW THE TIME CHANGED AT 2 AM HERE, AND IF IT ALSO CHANGES AT 2 AM ON THE WEST COAST, THAT MEANS IT'S 12:50 THERE RIGHT NOW AND NOT 11:50. ALSO I AM KIND OF DRUNK AND MY COMPUTER WON'T STOP FUCKING FREEZING, WHICH EXPLAINS THE EXTRA HOUR IT TOOK ME TO TYPE ONE MORE SENTENCE. So. I hope this counts? If not, well, it's just fic, then.

Title: Certain Unalienable Rights
Author: Sonya ([livejournal.com profile] golgibody)
Beta: Uh. . . me? I read it over like 20 times, I'll be so pissed if there's a typo.
Word Count: 3708
Rating: PG-13 for violence and stuff
Character(s): Kururugi Suzaku, Anonymous Doctor, Euphemia li Britannia, Lelouch Lamperouge, Teresa
Pairing(s): N/A, though I kinda ship Crazy Doctor/Suzaku in that order
Summary: You are all the things you hate. M-U for Suzaku, because I can't do it in-game.
Notes: Um, I actually. Really hate this fic. But that's what I get for starting it at three in the morning last night and posting it like fifteen minutes before/forty-five minutes after (???) the deadline. I figured since I finished it I might as well just post it even though I hate it. Ugh. I WANTED to have more characters in here, but that would have required way more scenes and I didn't have time, so I'm just going to be lame and focus on my own character.

I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad, that the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. )

............. and then, of course, my computer froze when I was trying to post. So now it's definitely not on time. Um. PLEASE TAKE PITY ON ME AND MY FAIL TECHNOLOGY AND MY MIDTERMS AND MY FRIENDS WHO MAKE ME DO THINGS. Brb, I'm going to go crawl into a corner and die now.

Title: we dance to the sound of sirens
Author: [livejournal.com profile] moot
Beta: none - if you see any mistakes please point them out!
Word Count: 2,479
Rating: R for violence, I suppose?
Character(s): Giovanni, Badou, Haine, Alkaid, some people from Dogs that are not in Landel's, mentions of Landel and Head Nurse, mentions of some other characters
Pairing(s): n/a
Summary: Giovanni’s wrong about a lot of shit, but he was right about every dictatorship having a revolution. He was right about Landel’s Rev failing, too.
Notes: I DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING GOD. also this is so fucking incoherent i don't even know if the plot i was trying to convey got across at all so uh if you guys need any clarification on this, go ahead and ask.

Title: Freedom at Last?

Beta: Not enough time
Word Count: 3,013
Rating: PG-13
Character(s): Hitsugaya Toshirou-centric; cameos by Matsumoto Rangiku, Ichimaru Gin, Lockon Stratos, and Hinamori Momo
Pairing(s): None
Summary: A few weeks ago, Shirosaki Soujirou was released from Landel's Institute. Now that he has come to terms with his delusions, life is finally start to return to normal, but is he truly free?
Notes: This is small part of a much larger, ambitious piece that I thought of but wasn't able to accomplish due to real life time constrictions.

I've been laid up with a nasty migraine for the better part of a couple days, including this morning, which has made writing stuff hard. I'll try and post tonight, though, and sorry for thread hold-ups! DX I'll be slowish and possibly not around IM/chat till this SOB decides to GTFO.

(Same goes for any leftover Halloween stuff. :x )

So... after my internet refusing to work last week (and forcing me to buy a wireless adapter to fix it) and then my being spotty due to a trip up to San Francisco, I come back to my apartment and find out that I'm blocked from connecting to the university wireless because I apparently have a virus.

Translation: slow posting will continue to be slow until this gets sorted out. I have computers I can borrow (the plus of living with 3 other people), but I feel bad hogging their computers so I'll be on limited access for now. Should be able to post for my threads at least once a day, if all goes well and I don't get another avalanche of school reading. Sorry about all this, guys. :( I'm certainly not happy about it either.
