Well, not a Slowatus exactly, but I'll definitely be slow to respond for the next few days. School decided to pull a fantastic move and give me three tests next week, so I've spent most of my free time this week trying to study for those. Now, for how NPC monster modding works! Basically, Fey has divided the maps up into sections (first floor here, second floor here). Each NPC mod is in charge of a particular section.

That means that when you make a request, you'll pretty much know which NPC mod will be taking care of it. The NPC mods can track this post and keep an eye out for when there are any requests that are in their area and then get to it. (Also, this way if there's a delay in getting your request filled, you know who you can contact about it.) Of course, a NPC mod could always ask one of the others to pinch hit for them if they're busy, on hiatus, etc.

RELATIVELY NEW RULES: When you make a request, put the name of the NPC mod who is in charge of the area in the subject line of your post! This will make it stand out more to the NPC mod and also get rid of any confusion about whose area it is. Secondly, there will be a three-day waiting period for NPC mod requests. In other words, if you wait three days and still don't get a monster, then you can feel guilt-free about contacting the NPC mod and asking them about it. At that point, the NPC mod must decide if they are going to do it. If they are unable, it's their responsibility to find another NPC mod to handle the request for them.

This should also make it easier for the NPC mods to watch their area and send out random attacks, so stay sharp! 8)

As for the outside areas, those requests can still be handled by any of us! And that's about all! Hope this makes this process a little more efficient. :3 Credit goes to Fey (and possibly some others?) for the idea.

This is where you comment with any alerts that other players should be aware of. Your character knocks down a certain door? Comment here so that there isn't confusion with people trying to open doors that have already been taken care of. Your character raids a supply closet? Note here what was taken so that anyone else heading that way knows what they have left to choose from. Part of the building gets blown up? You better let us know!

Also, if something particularly noteworthy is going on a specific room, feel free to mention it as well. Let's say your character is in the middle of torturing another character in the 2nd floor kitchen. It would be a little weird for a group to bypass that while looking for supplies, so... yes! This is just a simple way for us all to stay informed about the out of the ordinary things that might be going on during any given night.

Basically, just respond here with the appropriate location in the subject line (if applicable, since that's not as easy to do when it's a lock-breaking), and... yes! We did something similar to this during the zombie event, so check that out for reference.

I'm sorry for vanishing, but I had a bit of an accident at the beginning of the month. And while I'm doing pretty decently now, I'm suddenly having to scramble to keep up with everything I didn't get to for school and for work.

I don't really have time to devote to anything at the moment, and their voices had been faltering anyway, so I'll be dropping coldest_blood and blessedaccel.

I'm keeping i_dont_paint, but I'll be on hiatus until after my finals are done.

For those of you who are new and don't know what damned_links is, it's just a listing of links to every location posted to Nightshift. That's right--no scrolling back to find the location you need! Nifty, yus? :3

A few guidelines! Because these things always come with catches. ♥

-Please check BOTH the listing AND the main comm before posting a new location. I'll update the list often, but sometimes you guys are just way too fast for me! ; ; So avoid duplicate locations. They confuse me and everyone else.

-Check damned_maps for the names of locations. Use ONLY those marked names AS WRITTEN. That way people will be able to find locations they need more easily, and I won't have to look at where you came from. :3

-If you happen across a broken or incorrect link, post to the list and let me know which one it is (and the correct link, if you're feeling generous XD). I'll comment back when it's been fixed.

Sorry about the disappear, I'm relying on a finicky computer. It's totally crashed and had to be reformated twice in the last week and still isn't working right. I'm working on it, but I'll be scarce.

I sent a PM already, but I really want to make sure this gets through, because I don't know which mun it's supposed to reach.

Lockdown is one of the brainwashed and has just stepped out of room M64 with HK-47. He's got the tattoos and he's pretty damn hard to miss. We sort of really need to know what's going to happen here, because Ratchet's the only one who can start a confrontation, if there's going to be one.

So, yeah. Both Lockdown-mun and I are on the contact list, so you can talk to us directly through AIM if you want to.

Um, yeah, school is still being pretty intolerable, so I think I need to put Luffy and Apollo on hiatus again this NS. I understand I owe some backthreads for them, though, and I'm willing to keep at those for however long we need to.

Claude and Spock have plans this NS, so they'll still be in play. I may be slow with them while I work on my papers, but I'll seriously try not to hold people up.
