One way not to kick off the new year: hard drive failure.

A week, an anxiously anticipated paycheck, and an exorcism (I swear this machine is possessed, it dies on me so often) later, and I'm up and running and back on the face of the planet again. I know there were some tentative plans for nightshift, but I can't remember if anything was made concrete.

I'll be slow for the next day or two as I finish getting things put back in some semblance of order, but barring my computer deciding to spontaneously combust, I should be back now.

Quick notice: This only applies to Jen, but I'm so sorry I haven't been around to post yet. I've been out of the house a lot of the time and haven't gotten a chance to throw him out. I'll try my best to do it soon though. :( ♥

For those of you who don't know, I finally got a job two months ago (yay!). Unfortunately, a side effect of having a job is that I now have to work for a living (drat). And sometimes, I have to work quite a bit.

Basically, what I'm saying is that I've suddenly been assigned to a project that's going to require my help a LOT, and I'm probably going to be too brain dead at night to make long, intelligent responses that I like to make here.

So, Jiraiya's on hiatus for nightshift. While I'll be on the project for a while, last week required a lot of work, and the next two weeks promise to be the same. After that, I should have the required brains for RPing then.

Apologies to Tiki--Jiraiya and Mr. H will finished that game of Candyland NO MATTER WHAT.

I'm just gonna call slow/no posting for the next couple days, I'm not feeling well and my cold is draining my creativity and making me tired. I'll try to get back in after we finish inventory at work on Wednesday.

Or Harley and Edgar muns, if we're being specific. The antics of Kurogane and his unclothed canonmate in the Morgue have finally stopped, and Kurogane is attempting to drag Fai out and back towards a safer hallway. Since there is a back way (and I can easily turn Kuro around in the dark), he and Fai will be heading back a way they didn't come, skipping over the crazy monster in the hallway for a short bit (and giving that mun time to recover and return!). Because of this, they will have the chance of running into Harley and Edgar in the lower rooms/hallways pretty soon.

Mika and I were wondering if the two of you wouldn't mind, uh, shedding some light on the situation? Since both Fai and Kurogane have no light to speak of, any crossing with other patients would be more than welcomed (and unfortunately not easily ignored). If the both of you would not mind a four-person thread + impromptu rescue, we'd like to ask if you would be up for running into our boys. If not, then there's no problem for Fai and Kuro to have gone through that hallway beforehand/afterwards and magically time-skipped your pups altogether!
