Belated apologies for not posting today. I was going to try and respond tonight, but serious posts just don't seem to be coming. Gonna try and do better tomorrow, but I won't promise anything. I think I'm going to hiatus through dinner with everyone (aside from maybe Sai if he gets a new roommate) so I can catch up on backthreads.

Hey all. Just posting to acknowledge and apologize for my egregiously slow posting as of late. This is probably due to a combination of me feeling tired a lot lately, having trouble getting back on the wagon after con season, and the recent release of something heavily relevant to my interests. (*cough* see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, now in theatres nationwide!) So, sorry to everyone I'm threading with or supposed to thread with. I will try to make sure this doesn't last too much longer, but I think I need to keep up the slow posting notice for at least a little bit longer. 

While I'm here, I might as well make an official announcement about something I'm sure a lot of you knew was coming. Castmates definitely know already, at least. In the interests of freeing up more spare time for myself (I'm probably starting a class or two this fall), I'm going to be dropping both Utena and Elaine at the end of NS 51. Utena had a great run of over a year-and-a-half, and I'm very satisfied with everything she's done and every bit of CR she's had. She'll still always be my favourite character in any medium, but it's time to let her go. I can always imagine that she finally broke on through to the real world with the power of love. ;.; Elaine, by contrast, didn't go nearly long enough, and I'm sorry again to the rest of the amazing Monkey Island cast. I had a great time playing with all of you, but I think I just can't sustain a character of her intellect and wit after all. :( 

Sakura Kinomoto (or any of her friends, if Sakura doesn't want to use it) is welcome to Utena's sword, since weapons like that shouldn't go to waste. Elaine will be getting her sword from Leon tonight, and the rest of the MI crew already knows the plan from there.

So, yeah. Please remove roseoverture and selfrescuer after NS 51.

I'm sorry my posting has ground to a halt. I'm in the midst of moving, and things will be crazy for the next week. Hopefully, though, this minihiatus will only last until Wednesday. I'll post when I can.
