Since I have two lovely philosophy exams coming up in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be putting both Kibitoshin and Depth Charge on hiatus this NS, though DC might come off early to hang out with the basement crew. Lunge, meanwhile, is still going to be around to run off into magical violent adventures with Edgar and L.

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, and for those of you tuning in for the first time, welcome to you as well. A few of your fellow players (created by Serey and maintained by: E, Kabby, Eryn, Sarah, and Kaze) are bringing yet another tool to help you guys out during Nightshift: damned_links!

For those of you who are new and don't know what damned_links is, it's just a listing of links to every location posted to Nightshift. That's right--no scrolling back to find the location you need!

A few guidelines! Because these things always come with catches. ♥

-Please check BOTH the listing AND the main comm before posting a new location. We'll update the list often, but sometimes you guys are just way too fast for the links crew! ; ; So avoid duplicate locations. They confuse us and everyone else.

-Check damned_maps for the names of locations. Use ONLY those marked names AS WRITTEN. That way people will be able to find locations they need more easily, and we won't have to look at where you came from. :3

-If you happen across a broken or incorrect link, post to the list and note which one it is (and the correct link, if you're feeling generous XD). One of the links crew will comment back when it's been fixed.

-E has pointed out that if the list does end up going un-updated for a few days, the Archive Page for the comm works just as well for a quick overview of what's been posted and what hasn't. (CTRL-F in your browser to bring up a "Find" function. Also, here's the upcoming Archive Page for June!)

Any useful links posted in the Lounge (monster request, room descriptions, notification posts, special event information, etc.) will also be posted on the links page.

How do you make the 'From here' and 'To here' tags without entering into a catch-22 trap?

Say I start at place X and want to move to Y; so I make a post at X and end off with 'To ...', but I won't be able to know the exact link until I actually make the post at Y.

But I can't know the link to use under 'From ...' in the post at Y if I haven't made the post at X.

Yet I've seen so many people manage this without editing... how do you guys do it?
