Hey! Before you guys start posting your characters to DS, please note two very important things about Day 57:

1. The military is still going undercover as nurses and orderlies. As far as anyone is concerned, they are nurses and orderlies during Day 57. Of course, there will be actual nurses around to handle tasks such as medical attention and sedation, but for the most part, these will be soldiers acting the role. It is important you bear this in mind. We will offer more details when visitor shifts rolls around.

2. All characters will wake up in their old Landel's Institute uniform. Remember the smiley-faced shirts and gray pants? They're back, baby, and better than ever before! Except not really. They're the same exact uniform your characters used to own, wear, and love. For those who have earned pins, in exchange, their shirts will have a gold star sticker for every pin earned on their front. Where it's arranged is completely up to you!

Okay... so that slow posting that more or less didn't end up happening...?  I'm just going to have to call hiatus. :(  Sorry guys!  My friend and I got accepted to the prelims for World Cosplay Summit this year and the competition is just over a week away.  We're really scrambling on our costumes and performance and I know that probably seems like something silly, but it's really important to me that I give this my best shot.  Going to be on hiatus from now until July 6, when we get back.  If I've made plans with you though, I'll do my best to still make those and still post to the backthreads!  I still plan to be back in time to post for 4th shift and dinner.  Sorry for making people wait and being really fail as of late. (hey that rhymed) but should be back to normal posting when I return.  Thanks!

Sorry to jump on the hiatus train, but I'm putting Gumshoe on hiatus for most of DS so I can dedicate more time to a research project coming up. He should be back by dinner shift, but if he isn't, I'm definitely okay with backthreading if his new roommate's mun would like to.

I AM BACK and also way not even close to being creative enough to doing anything more than... say hi. Here. In the lounge. Um.

... I said I'd be back, and here I am, SO YES, hi, this is Lina, Damned veteran (OF A SORT?) bringing back Lelouch from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. For those of you who don't know, Code Geass is basically political intrigue meets giant robots meets blatant fanservice meets horrible product placement meets lots and lots of crack. Lelouch himself is like... if Light from Death Note and Suoh Tamaki had a lovechild, except with more mask wearing, purple fire, and fabulous poses. More info is in his journal, if for some insane reason you feel like checking.

He's been at the institute before and cultivated something of a presence on the bulletin board, so yes, he'll likely be doing that once he comes to grips with the fact that he's lost like a week or something and doesn't understand what the hell is going on anymore. LOOK FORWARD TO LOTS OF TL;DR and him being weird and fixated on revenge and shit.

Since it's a long weekend here in Germany, I'll be taking advantage of my days off and heading to Berlin. As a result, posting will be...sporadic on my end, haha. Soma will be on slow posting until Sunday.

In addition, I'm putting Javert on hiatus for this DS. I have to get some stuff sorted out with him, I think. Sorry about the inconvenience!
