The only people excused from participating in this Activity Check are players who are already listed as being on hiatus here (or who have already made a hiatus announcement to the lounge). Hey, everyone! Several people have approached us with this idea, so we decided to come to the playerbase at large for their two cents.

What am I talking about? A GUIDE FOR NEWCOMERS.

So, obviously, this is kind of an undertaking, since it requires not only figuring out what's important for potential applicants and new players to know off the bat, but also how to explain it in the clearest way possible. A lot of us are veterans, though, and so I think it's harder for us to come up with what would be the most relevant for our newbies.

That's why we'd like for you to submit possible questions and topics that you think ought to be included in a guide. New players and potential applicants, your opinions are especially important, so please feel free to jump in. This should give us a starting point on how to proceed.

Lastly, we'd like to ask for one or more volunteers willing to help out with some things. Right now we need someone to 1) maintain the Damned Calendar, 2) post monthly reminders in the lounge regarding our ATP ad, 3) go forth along with Claire to comment under ATP character ads that meet Damned's specifications (she's been doing this on her own for awhile, but would love additional help if anyone's willing).

We may need help with additional tasks in the future, but we'll let you guys know if that happens. As always, we're grateful to those who volunteer to help make the game run smoother, and so any contributions are truly appreciated.
