School has been kicking my tush hard for the last week, and promises to continue to do so for another! I know it's not really possibly or valid to retroactively hiatus for the last week of total nonexistence, but uh, here's wishing I could.

This also serves as a slow posting / hiatus notice for the next week, as I hopefully make myself concentrate enough to get my things done. I STILL HAVE... THINGS I WANT TO DO this NS, so I hope to be able to get out there and not drag things down, but just in case I can't manage it.

Hey, guys! It took us a while to get around to it, but we've finally put together a beginner's guide for all new players coming in to Damned! It's meant as a guide to walk someone through their first day and night at Damned in a straight-forward way so that no one feels lost while getting their bearings.

We have the guide posted up over here, but the reason I'm announcing this is because we'd like feedback from all of you! Is there something I missed that should really be in here? Is there something in the phrasing that's hard to understand or confusing that should be tweaked? We're open to any and all suggestions because we want the guide to be as useful and user-friendly as possible!

Now, another thing we'd like help with is some formatting with the Guide. See how there's the Tables of Contents section at the top? We'd like to turn each of those titles into links, so someone could click down to what they want to read. But... none of us know how to code that, so if anyone could help with that, we'd appreciate it! I'm going to go back and make the actual headings fit with the green font color that we have on our other info pages when I get a chance.

Speaking of formatting and coding, another thing we've been looking to do is clean up the profile code for the main community. A lot of people have mentioned that there's an overabundance of links there, which can make it overwhelming for any potential applicants. If we could clean it up, make it prettier, and only include the most important links, that would be great. Would anyone be up for this task?

Finally, I know there are some issues that were brought up that people wanted explained and that aren't in the guide. That would be things like the healing rate, what powers count as visible during the day, some more specific posting guidelines (can you post to shifts outside of your age/gender range, etc.), and so on, but we've opted to include those in a more detailed FAQ post that will be our next big project.

I know I've been failing really bad with posting and tagging lately. Work's been really crazy and I haven't actually had the chance to come online much at all, especially lately. I don't know when things will lighten up enough for me to post, so I'm putting both Klavier and Snow on hiatus until further notice. I will get to backthreads whenever things slow down a bit, but I don't know when that'll be yet. If anyone needs to discuss thread outcomes or anything else, feel free to pm or email me. I'll respond to it whenever I'm next able.
