It seems like we've gotten tons of requests for extensions this cycle (which is fine, we know it's the end of the school year and everyone's really busy <3), but since Court and I have a hard time remembering whose app is in and whose we're waiting for, please kindly follow these instructions:

IF YOU OR A FRIEND OF YOURS IS PLANNING ON SENDING IN A LATE APPLICATION, PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS ENTRY WITH WHO IS SENDING IN THE LATE APP (LJ name, handle, and/or email address, so we know whose late app is which) AS WELL AS WITH WHAT CHARACTER FROM WHAT SERIES, AND HOW LONG OF AN EXTENSION IS NEEDED. We need to know so that we can start reading apps and know which ones we have to put aside because of potential competition and which ones we can go ahead and mark as accepted, as well as know how many to expect now that we have the general bulk of apps in our inbox. The comments for this entry are screened, so don't worry about giving your name (or your friend's name) if you're new or shy. <3

Now, remember: You must post to this entry EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY WARNED ME AND/OR COURT ABOUT NEEDING AN EXTENSION. It's really hard for us to keep track otherwise. D: On the other hand, if you were too busy/shy to ask for an extension and you think you'll be able to get an app in to us within the following week, feel free to ask for an extension here. <3

HOWEVER. Please note that this post is not for "my friend MAY be able to send in an app but I'm not sure." If you're commenting on this post, it means that you're certain that you or your friend will be getting in their app to us within the following week. (Of course, if things come up and the app is no longer possible, no biggie--but you have to let us know. <3)

We'd prefer if all late apps were in within the following week, but if you have good reason to send in one later than that, please let us know and tell us why. (If you're out of town or something big came up, etc.)

Er, also, if you already turned in a late app or if you have your late app done already, just send it in and don't worry about this. XD;

Hope this allows us to be more organized about late apps than last time. Elena and the womens who will be interrupting Reno and Shachou - yeah, just invade the new post I will be throwing up innnnnn....sometime in the near future instead of the thread. XD XD Depending on you guys show up, we might not even need that lj-cutted post, but just in case things do progress to that while the girls are still talking, yeah. It will be there.

Besides, then we'll have an NC-17 post tagged as having about four or five characters within it. Which amuses me greatly.

Also, VEGAS~ My Internets spazzed when I tried to email you earlier, but I don't want to spam your inbox by emailing you twice in case the first one did go through, so short of it here is - Reno's gonna be shuttling Rufus around the room a bit as he moves to close the door and. Do a couple of other stuffs.

So yeah, let me know if it's cool for me to assume that Rufus is going to go along with wherever Reno drags him. :D

Okay, strike the 'I'll be slow' thing and make that a short hiatus. I'm having trouble keeping up with school and RPing at the same time, as I have a lot to do that has to be finished somewhere next week (either Wednesday or Friday, depending on said assignments I have to make).

Sorry if I'll be holding up threads or anything :/ (I think that will only go for the ones threading with Kuja, and the Monster threading with Albel, as Xemnas has now gotten away from Phead).

The good news is that I'll have vacation right after? Again, sorry for the incovenience!

Soooo, Schu wants to come bust up the Rufus/Reno making outs, hot as they are. :X I know I discussed this with Vegas, and I was under the impression he passed it on to you, Melanthe, but just on the off chance - you're cool with that, right?

Assuming the answer is yes, when would be a good time for Schu to break up the party? As far as keeping Schu's alliance with Rufus salvageable - he's fuming slightly more than the Titanic smokestacks - the sooner the better, but I don't want to interrupt until/unless you guys are ready for him to do so. <3 If you wanted to get to a certain point before he intervenes, lemme know and I'll wait.

Btw, Grace, Schu is probably going to try to remove Reno from the picture with some pointed comments re: Dean and Dean's new knowledge about Reno, so Reno may come looking for Dean in the near future depending on the level of his "oh shit" reaction - heads up in case he does decide to run off and try to patch things up. :X

All right, guys, I've been meaning to make a post like this for quite some time, but I haven't, sooo:

I know all of us (me included, a while back) get really excited when we app characters, and thus, in the spirit of squeeing and waiting, start posting in the OOC comm with our characters' journals before they're officially accepted. Now, I understand it's all in good fun and no harm is meant, but because this community has gotten so big with so many people potentially applying:

We're going to have make it official now that players and applicants are NOT allowed to post to this community or to other journals within this RP with character journals that have not yet been accepted. Basically, to post with these journals before we're sure who's going to be getting in is too premature for our comfort as mods. After all, it'd be pretty sucky if an applicant and other people threading with that applicant got excited over a character who ended up not getting in, and such threading could be especially damaging in a situation where a character has gotten multiple applications, and thus a competitor prematurely posting to the OOC comm with a journal for that character could unfairly intimidate other applicants (and even potential applicants) even though that poster is not yet accepted.

Consider this guideline as official, though not serious enough to warrant a mention in damned_info. I'll probably just add it as a friendly reminder to the application lists that we make in the future. :3

You guys who have recently done it this cycle, don't feel bad--I've been meaning to make this rule for a while and only recently remembered. XD; Anyway, hope that makes sense to all of you guys, and also: Thanks to those of you who let us know when the late apps are coming in on the extension post. :3

Clarification: Chatting with people with your personal journal or anonymously and saying who you applied for is perfectly okay. We just, as stated, don't want potential applicants to think that since someone is posting with a character journal, they've been accepted as that character already, since even if you state that you haven't yet been accepted somewhere in a thread, an applicant might not be reading that part of the thread or even the whole thread altogether.
