Alright, guys... you may or may not have noticed my total absence the last few days. Well, the thing is, I've started volunteering at my local Historical Society... which has me getting up at 8AM. For a guy used to awaking at noon or later, this is a huge change. So, until I get my sleep schedule all sorted out, I'm gonna declare a demi-hiatus.

And it's probably mostly over by now, since I'm starting to adjust.

Newbie here. Please be kind.

I've been itching to ask this for a bit.

How much or how little work do people put into what is supposed to be their identity as far as the doctors and nurses pretend? I read a little bit when someone was asking about patient files and the stuff in the patient possessions room. I'm mostly curious. It seems like that fake identity--diagnoses of what people are suffering from other than delusions of being other people, their "family" etc.--might be issues that would come up when dealing with the staff.

Can someone advise me or point to somewhere this may have been discussed before? I've read pretty far back on the lounge but not everything. I've also skimmed a lot of the posts in the actual community too.

As a side note. The wiki is confusing me terribly. I've worked on the real Wikipedia a little bit (correcting errors, not creating pages though there is one I mean to make some day), and one for Desperate Fans, so I'm not inexperienced in creating pages, but I am stumped. I need to do a new fandom page and then a character page. I feel dumb.

ETA: I'm posting this early (when few people on LJ are alive awake) because we're likely to be out most of the afternoon and evening. It depends when my boyfriend gets up, and then we have D&D from 4 til midnight CST. So if people are kind enough to answer I may not get back to replies until tomorrow.

While I'll still be around to check email and respond to threads, I'll be pretty slow through Sunday night. I've got family in town for my grandmother's 90th birthday party, and things are about to get crazy.

And the house is starting to smell like cake. As always, this is both good and bad.

I know I haven't been on AIM, but I am still very much active and online and available through email and the comms - as I'm sure the people I've been threading with could tell you! ;)

I did take a couple days off of IC posting last weekend due to RL stress, but that's all. I'm not available 24/7 like I was, but I still check my email every half hour or so (sometimes more frequently, depending on the kids and the housework) and I'm keeping a close eye on the various comms.

So yes, I am around, I am available, and I am active.

I hope that clears everything up for everyone.

Um... When should Recluse come in this week for therapy, if at all? Since he was displaced from the Day24 time that he was supposed to come.

D: I just posted for Rukia in a new Sun Room thread, and it looks like Miku-mun did as well. Then I went back and deleted mine with the intention of putting Rukia in the other thread.
