BRAND SPANKIN' NEW PROFILE LAYOUT!

Aside from the purely aesthetic changes (I CAN USE TABLES NOW YAY), I tried moving stuff around and organizing it so it all read in more of a... uh... not-haphazard fashion. 8D I still need to tweak it some more (make some of the bolding look nicer, change the general link color, make the cast list's links bigger, etc.), but! I am off to do last-minute English reading bed for now.

Let me know what you think! (I have the old profile code handy in case you notice that anything got lost in the revamping.) And maybe this helps make up for slow app reading? Kinda? D:

Well, firstly, my internet once again took a nosedive into whatever abyss internets fall into when they die, so I haven't been able to get online in...days.  I don't know how many.  Secondly, due to a family emergency, I'll have to leave the country on Thursday, and I can't guarantee I'll be able to get stable internet access where I'm going.

In light of all of this, I figure it's better not to start any threads in case they're not finished by the time I leave.  I shouldn't be gone longer than a week though, and if my aunt has internet...well, this'll be irrelevant anyways.

I'm sorry for not having been around these last few days, I've been having some RL issues that have sapped my creativity. Extra special apologies to Statesmun since he was about to go gallavanting off, I believe? Anyways, I might not be able to get back in the groove for a little while so I'm gonna ask to extend my hiatus for a little longer (possibly for the rest of Nightshift, possibly not, don't know yet).

So, in order to free things up (I can't apologise enough since this now means Court will have to make alternate plans for Spidey), should I just do a post splitting us all up so you guys can keep moving?

So remember Homura asking for all of the characters' "real" names? He's sent Zuko and Subaru to get the files, and since kitty didn't eat Zuko, we're very likely going to have them come morning. So everyone gets an assignment!

Any History Club Member who gave Homura their name (and Fai) basically has to come up with the contents of the file. I talked this over with Erin to okay it, and here's the basic criteria:

-Some information about their background
-Why they were committed
-Who they think they are
-Existing family members
-Preexisting medical issues

These do have to be read over by the mods, so be aware of that. And if you've had a doctor or visitor and touched on this stuff before (like Fai has with Ashura), you should use that information too for consistency's sake?

So yes! It doesn't have to be too huge or anything, and it doesn't have to be done immediately, which I know is a big thing since school is topping so many people right now. But if you all would, and e-mail them to me at tad(dot)coast(at)gmail(dot)com, I'd be really appreciative!

Also, might want to start thinking of what might be some of their "real" life possessions. Obviously no weapons in that, though.

Just because I'm really curious, let's play a game called:

Six Degrees of River Tam

Yes, totally based on the same concept as the Kevin Bacon version.* The idea is to, through ic connections, link any of your characters to River Tam by the quickest way possible in six 'steps' or less. Here's some examples:

Homura and Ururu both have directly spoken to River Tam. Ururu even had naked bonding time with her. (One step each)
Sanosuke has spoken to Homura through the bulletin, who has directly spoken to River Tam. (Two steps)
Hiei spends lots of time cuddling with Kurikara, who has been fawned over by various shinigami, who frequently talk to Renji, who is very overprotective of River Tam. (Four steps).

Simple enough, right? And why River Tam? Because I liked the way it sounded. And there are several ways to find a trail, obviously, so have fun with it.


How do you know Tad's played too many aquila? When she types "virgin" instead of "version".

I got back from the wedding three days ago… and while I’m still getting over some jetlag, I’m back in the game baby! Although, with nightshift already halfway through, I might remain on hiatus until breakfast… that is unless someone wants to adopt either Yuber or the Star Dragon Sword for the remainder of nightshift? Otherwise I’ll keep my boys out of the game until brekkie time comes around ^o^

Rukia, Hitsugaya, and Roland are about to enter the Main Hallway (1-Center). If you want, we can just say that our group didn't spot Anya and Kimbley trying to kill each other due to the darkness, but I do know there is a sword involved, and Kimbley currently has Anya pinned on the ground.

So... Do we need to intervene, or would you two rather duke it out?

JUST WANTED TO SAY A HUGE SORRY TO EVERYONE I'M THREADING WITH, since I think this is the second day I've gone without posting any replies. :| But school has decided it wants to do horrible things to me.
