Okay, so Raz is kind of suspicious that Dahlia accepts the idea that he's capable of protecting her, since every other adult he's ever met (with the exception of Ford Cruller) had doubted his ability to kick ass. To see if Dahlia's being sincere about this, he's going to attempt to read her thoughts.
This brings up two questions!
1. I thought I read somewhere a while back that powers are completely suppressed during the dayshift and they come back (limited, of course) during the nightshift. Going through damned_info, though, I can't seem to find that rule anywhere. Am I making stuff up or is this a real rule?
2. Dahlia-mun, in the case of Raz being able to use his powers, is it okay to read Dahlia's mind? Due to limitations, the most he can getting out of reading Dahlia is that she isn't being honest about anything she's been telling him, but he can't figure out the truth. Still, I can see why you wouldn't want that to happen, so I'm going to need your permission first. >_>
EDIT: Okay, on second thought, I've decided that Raz isn't going to try reading her mind yet, for a variety of reasons. Thanks for answering my questions, though!
