As some folks probably noticed, I fell off the face of the internet last night. For which I apologize profusely. I got hit with something and haven't been feeling well since I ate dinner last night. I'm hoping it's a 24 hour bug or something short-lived like that, and plan to be booting up the laptop and spending the day in bed with ginger ale and crackers. But if I am not around, this would be why. :/

(And I know I've got a lot to do, and am going to try and get it done anyway)

Okay. I think I made this post before, but I forget. Oh well can't hurt to remind people. That and we have a new cycle going on so there are new characters! HI!!!

Naoe and Takaya are 'Possessors' (eh, there's a Japanese name too that I KNOW but can't spell... ask Souji). Basically they died 400 years ago and have since then been booting out other people from their bodies (usually newborns but in times of crisis they have been known to kick out older people). This is why they both have two names at the moment...

If the mods have gracefully allowed you to keep any sort of 'sensing' ability when it comes to people being dead/possessed/messed up/whatever, then you should probably talk to either myself or Souji about what they would be able to tell about Takaya and Naoe. The two of us usually agree when it comes to this thing (as we talk about it A LOT <.<) and make sure that we both know who would be able to tell what about them. If all else fails feel free to comment here and we'll talk here too... yadda yadda yadda...

As a sort of side note:

Mirage of Blaze is a very complex and confusing anime/manga/series of novels that relies very heavily on pseudo Japanese history (and some real Japanese history). Almost all of the characters in it have many different incarnations throughout the show/manga/novels that are important to the plot. Even the characters that aren't 'Possessors' are reincarnations of people that the Possessors knew in their original lives and you learn all about their first names and such. There are also characters like Kagetora/Takaya who were traded around 400 years ago as bargaining chips between war lords and got a name change every year or so even when they were alive!

If you are at all curious about the details, either because your character will know it or just because you have free time and are curious, there's more detail on this website. I could write it out too, but it wouldn't be nearly as well or organized as what this person has done and there wouldn't be pictures.

That and I'm LAZY.

P.S. If you did check the website.... SEE HOW MANLY NAOE USED TO BE AND HOW WIMPY KAGETORA??? I know who wears the PANTS in this relationship!! .... Please don't hurt me Kagetora-sama...

Here, have a topping icon.

So, I'm curious, and easily bored at work. What do your characters' journal names mean?

Example! Screwthegods is pretty much Homura's attitude towards Heaven, and budgetordie is Tatsumi's attitude towards life. ^.^

Alternately, if you could have a different journal name for any of your characters, what would it be?

New onomatopoeia for Axel's new heart, as suggested by my boyfriend--

Greg House Greg House Greg House...

Quick question, partially out of laziness, but for the stairs, do we have to post at the base, then at the top?

Or can we just post at the top or the second floor hallway?

Thanks. :x

[livejournal.com profile] truthisntsimple aka Snape-mun and I (Ritsuka-mun) are going to be heading to Las Vegas with the rest of our graduating senior suitemates from May 6th to May 9th so we'll be gone then. I know this is early, but I figured I should let everyone know in advance. We're around until then, of course.

I know that period coincides with the end of Nightshift, so contact either one of us if that's going to be a problem for any threads we're in. :x Sorry guys!
